Michigan SAS 70 Colocation — Michigan SAS 70 Data Center
Waveform Technology’s Michigan Data Center is a SAS 70 certified data center. Our SAS 70 independent audit was performed by Godfry Hammel, Danneels & Company, P.C.
SAS 70 is a nationally recognized standard used to assess procedures and controls. SAS 70 was originally intended for reporting on financial controls, but the standard has since become widely used for auditing data center and colocation providers. Waveform Technology’s SAS 70 audit evaluated the security and operational polices and systems that we use. The auditors appraised the physical building security, colocation room access control, network resiliency, backup power, environmental controls such as heat rejection, and safety systems including fire suppression.
What does this mean?
It means colocation customers have more assurance. It means Waveform Technology has codified the procedures and controls that keep our data center online, and that an independent third party has audited those procedures and controls to ensure that they work.
It means peace of mind and confidence for our colocation clients. A SAS 70 data center is simply a data center with a stamp of approval.
